  1. He is a VERY strong and powerful lover. Better the headboard and pillows than Bella. Also, I think Stephanie Meyer adds that for humor and to show the passion of their love

  2. because edward & bella were getting at it if u know what i mean *nudge nudge wink wink* and it was causing him pain because she was just so...close...to him and he didn't want to hurt her so...i guess the closest thing was the pillow!

  3. So he doesn't try to bite bella and kill her or turn her into a vampire

  4. Well during "intercourse" Edward didn't want to hurt Bella and he was getting into the "moment" too much and he bit the pillow so he wouldn't bite Bella. In other words he was redirecting his "aggression"

  5. I think that he did it for trying not to bite bella.Maybe he got to exited but at the same time he was very alert about what he was doing so he wouldn't hurt her.

  6. haha, well in the throes of passion he gets aggressive. So rather than take it out on Bella he bites the pillows, rips her nightie and breaks the headboard. Pretty hot if you ask me! haha

  7. Well it was either bella or the pillows and headboard. He was just so out of his mind that he couldn't control his strength, I think. Making love can do that to a person. In this case a vampire.

  8. well i think that the bitten pillows were him lashing out because he hurt bella, after the fact of the s*x, then the headboard was to focas his strength away from bella because shes fragile during their second try but thats just my interpretation

  9. Because apparently, Edward couldn't handle the smell of Bella and instead bit the pillows/headboard.
