Haha umm.... What is the best safest (not harmful to skin/piercing) way to dissolve Krazy Glue?

One drunken night about two months ago, I pierced my ear (cartilage, outer helix, I guess) with a 14g piercing needle....

When I put in the captive ring, the hole on the ring where you put the ball in was too tight - I couldn't fit the ball bead thing on the ring, and my totally wasted self and wasted friend decide - KRAZY GLUE!

SSSSSOOOOOOOOO ANYWAY,

long story short,

Out of my own stupidness, I've had the ball on my captive ring superglued on for the past 2 months.

I want to replace the ring with something better, but obviously I can't get it off to do that.

Soooooooooooo,

How can I get it off?

  1. Be patient.  Dead skin cells slough off the skin surface continuously. When enough accumulates, the Krazy Glue will be glued to a bunch of loose dead cells, and not your skin any more.

  2. warm water and soap work well, i use dawn dish soap when I get it on my hands and it works well. I would be afraid to use those other chemicals on my skin, otherwise it will wear off slowly, due to the fact that skin cells come off quickly

  3. Put nail polish remover on a cotton ball and soak the part you put glue  on. The acetone kind works better.

  4. go get some super glue remover...they do sell it at walmart near the superglue in the hardware dept..it would be the safest way and the easiest

  5. Put olive oil on a cotton ball and work at it until it leaves your ear.

  6. Soak it in nail polish remover - that will dissolve the glue.
