is it legal to give a student a whole day detention?i told my parents and they say they are going to look into it.BUT THEN CHANGED THEIR MIND AFTER TALKING TO HIM :(.

  1. Yes it is LEGAL as you put it . You  obviously deserved it  because your parents changed their minds after they talked to him..

Your parents need to put you in summer school or boot camp so you can't cause problems over the summer

  2. Read your school handbook. What you have done, by your own admission, was wrong. Think of it as a bucket of water. You take a pebble and tossed it in for every time you made a disrespectful remark or action. Eventually the bucket overflows. Thus his turn. I bet that if you check your school handbook you will find that he could have done this much earlier in the year.

You were given enough time to be more mature than you have been acting. He has given you enough rope to hang yourself. You took it hook, line and sinker. Now you have even shown how much more immature you are by making this confession on the web and crying like about a little baby.

Shut up ... you are wrong... even your parents agree with the teacher! You have no leg to stand on this. Grow up and discontinue the childish, rude and offensive behavior. It is not funny..those who laughed at it were just as much a jerk as you are.

You show very little respect for those of authority. I hope that you are not expecting any respect from others. You have to earn respect, if you can't give it - you won't get it.

  3. It sounds like you need to work on growing up.  Being young is not an excuse for being a major jerk.  There is never a right time to call anyone a f*g.

  4. yeah it's called I.S.S. In School Suspension.

  5. well don't that just suck!!!

but there isn't anything wrong with keeping you in detention all day long...

once i was in school and it was also the last day!  I had some confetti and i tossed it up when the bell rang!

when i got home i got called back to school to "Clean up"

wow i guess i shouldn't of did that!

but i feel that you know what you did and you don't want to own up to it!  sad fact of life what you do will come back around!

so when your older and someone calls you a f*g and you get ticked off just remember this teacher!

best of luck in life in general!

  6. I feel sorry for you..

I doubt the teacher gave you the detention for 'no reason'. You must have done something wrong.

  7. You knew you were being mean, bigoted, and breaking the rules. It sounds like your parents agreed, once they heard the circumstances.

It is time to pay the piper, and accept the consequences for what you did.

  8. Too bad he had to put up with you all year. You sound like a spoiled brat.

  9. Detention for no reason?  Maybe because you always call him "f*g"?

You got what you deserved.  By the way- detention is never "illegal".  So young, so much to learn...

  10. You sound like you deserved it.

  11. Wow you have issues if it where me I would give you a whole week all day detention just for making fun of people. . .do you have no self confidience that you have to make other people feel bad too? Loser

  12. ive never heard of all day detention ,but if you're gonna be mean all the time ,then you deserve it anyway. try giving him a break now and again

  13. It's called in school suspension, and it sounds like you deserved it.  Did your parents ground you too?

  14. You sound like a butt-head that deserved more than that.
