Haier 50 inch plasma not turning on properly. Just recently our Haier 50 inch has not been turning

Just recently our Haier 50 inch has not been turning on properly when pressing the ON button. The little blue light in the bottom right corner lights up blue to indicate power, but no picture or sound comes up and it is stuck in a grayish screen. Any ideas?
