Haier air conditioner unit?

I Have an air conditioner unit, & it says timer on it? so i tried setting it for 1 hour, and i set it, and like maybe 3 seconds later, it just shut off? can somebody please help me how to set the timer on this thing? thank you

Timer is for delay turn on not for staying on. If it's 10am and you want the unit to turn on at 10 hours from now. Then set it to 10. To use the timer the until has to be turned off. The press timer and then set the time using up and down arrows for it to turn on.

If you read the manual you would find a paragraph telling you, when the A/C is on, if you set the timer on with the time you set say 2hrs, the unit will turn off in about 5 secs then it will turn on 2hrs later. If you set the timer off say 3hrs, then the unit will continue running and shut down 3 hrs later. It's in your manual.
