Haiku Rule Help?

Question

when you are right a haiku, do the first letter of each stanza have to be capitalized like this?

The rain is falling

Slowly upon the flowers

Nourishing their thirst

or is it like this

The rain is falling

slowly upon the flowers

nourishing their thirst

for a haiku, i DO think thay all have to be capitalized.

I think most poetry capitalizes every line.

No - you do not have to capitalize the letters. They can all be lower case. And most haiku have no titles.
