Question:

Hair Color out of a box?

I am in a huge emergency to get my hair colored by tomorrow. I am considering using hair color out of a box. I am dark blond and would be going a lighter blond. My family wants to take family pictures and I look rediculous right now. Will trying hair dye out of a box make me look even more rediculous? Which brand do you prefer? Are there any tips on how to make it look good??

  1. For starters...if it's the first time you have colored your hair on your own you might want someone to help.Just to make sure you don't miss any spots or get any of the dye on your neck or ears.Because your going lighter you might want to test a small section of hair that's less visible so you can have an idea of how it will turn out.I prefer to use Nice'n'Easy by Clairol. It comes with a conditioner so that your hair doesn't dry out and look frizzy.Hope that helped.Good luck!

  2. I like Clairol nice and easy, but if you've never done it before the night before pictures is not a good time to start. Be very careful whatever you do! If you know someone who has experience go to them- The first time i did my own hair I missed tons in the back, and I even had help. I wouldn't recommend your choice here!
