Question:

Hair Glue Extensions. Questions?

I really want to add little pieces of pink extensions in my hair. But my friend said she'll glue it. I've heard it messes up your hair but what if it's just a little piece. & I also want to know. What type of damage it causes.

  1. I did the glue-in extensions twice. They ARE really hard to take out, even with the removing shampoo. ESPECIALLY if someone who isnt a professional glues them in, because if you put in too much it can get really gloppy and you'll either have to work all the glue out which takes usually about a month (EW), or cut it out (EW). If it just a really thin line, it'll be alot easier to take out, but it wont hold as well. I strongly recommend using the clip on ones, especially if you're going for small pieces. Plus, the glue-in ones come in only a full set, which can cost about $90 from Sally's. The clip on ones are the same good quality as the glue-in's, just cheaper.

  2. well so u don't damage ur hair make sure u put conditioner in ur hair so it would be easier to take out

  3. When u take them out ,, or when they fall out,, when u brush them,, u loose hair,, my daughter did it, and she regrets it so much she ended up losing so much hair she had to get it cut again! ,,no matter how much i didnt want her to do it ,,I told her it wasnt a good idea because it will leave places in her head bald from it being taken out or when it falls out,, and sure enough it did!

    hope u think twice
