Question:

Hair Help (ASAP!!!)?

ok, so I know that I go around providing good, stable answers to people's questions, but I really have no idea what to do about my hair.

I'm black, and I relax my hair to make it straight, meaning that i have curly roots.

I DO own a straightener, but its generic. I recently ordered a top-of-the line straightener, but its taking forever to get here. It seems like every time I get my hair straight, really straight like I want it, when I wake up the next day its still overall straight but its frizzed in a lot of the dry areas of my hair (i.e. the sides and bangs).

So I guess I'm asking how to get my hair straight and keep it that way, for more than a day, and if you have any good tips that would be nice, too.

Notes about my hair:

I relax it

I straighten it

I use straightening products in it

Its brown

Its short, almost to my shoulders.

thxx.

  1. get a deep conditioning treatment  will you answer mine http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...

  2. straighten your hair in the morning not night.

  3. Try using a satin pillowcase. It should help prevent your hair from getting frizzed during the night (not to say it'll stop it completely though).

  4. Hi- I recently had the same problem. I constantly straightened my hair. And you want to know something? It made it even more frizzy (in the long run). Yup. Awful, right? And this was with top of the line straighteners. Now, I'm natural- frizzy all the way, and I have to say, I feel great! I'm not always worrying about what the weather will do to my hair- I don't care anymore! I get compliments from so many guys, and it's so much quicker in the mornings! Seriously, take my advice- use the Kerastase smoothing hair care range, and be natural!

PS- its called bain- oleo- relax

  5. Be natural seriously

Every friggin' girl straightens her hair these days, pin-straight hair is not s**y, it just looks fake

be unique just leave ur hair curly

    be proud of it ;)
