Hair Help please (10 points)?

Question

Okay, so my hair is brown. Plain medium brown. Its a medium length , and pretty layered (dont think like SUPER scene layered hair though)

i want to make my hair stand out a little, but i dont want something completely trashy.

My mom has to aproove to.

I dont want to shorten my hair.

I am not allowed to dye it either black or red.

The thing is , im only allowed to get as many blonde highlights as i want,

but my whole school is getting blonde hair,

can you show me either how to work with my brown hair

or tell me some shades of blonde that can look unique for highlights
