Hair Straighten spray, will it wrek my hair?!?!?

OKay so tommow is the orientiaon for my high skool, and I want to straigten my hair, because I got a flat iron on my b-day. But the thing is I DONT HAVE THE SPRAY THAT YOU SPRAY IN YOUR HAIR BEFORE YOU STRAIGTEN IT!! I heard that You can do REALLY bad damgae to your hair if you dont have the spray! But Im only going to straigten my hair like 1once every 2 months. Should I do it without the spray!?!?!?!?

i reccomend using the spray and i would get a good one. One that is great is from Tresemme. I think its call Tresemme heat protectent but im not 100% sure

That is such bullsh*t that the hairdresser probably told you. It helps to have the spray but as long as you have a good hair iron it should be fine. It should be ceramic that's important. Anyway just make sure you use good shampoos and conditioners and also hair masks. I use a hair iron everyday. And my hair is in very good condition and I colour my hair monthly. I just make sure I use good hair products in general. I do have the spray but don't use it all the time. I use my iron all the time.

You won't kill your hair. Just always moisturize after any stress to your hair. I would get it for future use, as it will protect it from severe damage....note, you still damage your hair anytime you stress it, like flat ironing. But, you'll be fine for tomorrow, if you can't get any.

i blow dry and straighten my hair every day with no product.

i get compliments on how soft my hair is.

so if you are going to only use it once, dont worry about it.

It won't hurt your hair if you dont use the spary but i HIGHLY reccomend getting it because it makes it look soo much more natural and shinier instead of a little poofy and dry :p <3

i straighten my hair all the time with out it.just do wat you feel comfortable doing..

ya it wont damage ur hair unless u hold it in one spot for a long time..... so definetly straighten it

the spray that some people use is there to prevent damage.

especially if you aren't using a flat iron all the often hardly any damage will come,you might have some split end and whatnot but when you get your hair cut, trim those right off.

if your flat iron has settings to control how hot you make your iron, try using a relatively lower setting, that way it'll damaged your hair a little less
