Hair bleaching; how long does the toner last?

I died my hair 4 weeks ago to a bleached blonde look, and it was yellowy blonde, like pixie geldof colour and white in some places.Today i got my roots done, but my hair is the lightest shade of blonde ever, its basically white. i was wondering if this is just the toner that shes put in, or if shes dyed all of my hair again???

if it is the toner,how long does it last (weeks/washes whatever)

Um well it depends.  If you have hard water that white hair will be yellow in no time.  White hair is hard to upkeep because the natural oils your head produces are yellow along with a lot of minerals and whatnot in water.

Also, you can't dye your hair blonde, it's bleaching or toning only.  Dye is a pigment you introduce into your hair colour to make it a different colour.  Colour.  Blonde is essentially lack thereof.  So simply put she didn't dye it white, she probably just bleached your roots and or toned it.  And it should only be white for maybe a week or two and then tone down.
