Hair clippers for mens hair?

I rec ently bought some hair clippers to shave my head as ive never had it done.

But all the 'add on' plastic guards, are labelled , 0.1" , 0.25" , 0.5" , 0.75", etc

Not in the traditional 'Grade 1, 2 , 3 ,4 , etc '

So my question is what is the "grade" equivilent to the 0.5" and 0.25"

that's the inch size would be left after using those guides.  so for a 1" cut use the 1" blade.  Your hair will be no longer than 1" in length.

0.5 = 1/2 inch

.25 - 1/4 inch
