Question:

Hair disaster...help please!?

I got my hair dyed to a strawberry blondish, brownish color about 2 months ago. When the color was first done, it had a orangey tint that faded after about 5 washes. today i got the color touched up and had my roots filled in in the same strawberry blond color. However, the color is more of a brown shade with very red roots. I am unsure if the color just needs to fade a little, like it did before, or if i should go back to the salon and ask to have the color fixed. any suggestions?!

  1. go to the salon and ask them why it happened, then get it fixed

  2. If it faded before it will probably fade again. Although that isn't a certainty. My color always fades but my mothers (and we both get it always done in the same salon) fades sometimes when other times it doesn't.

Maybe leave it a few washes and see what happens. I think it's a bad idea to get roots filled in if its faded at all overtime. it will never be the same color and it will make your hair look really strange.

  3. I have to say that if you are unsatisfied, you should go back to the salon. They should at least have told you if it would fade or not, not to mention it would be easy to tell the roots and the rest of the hair don't match. Maybe consider changing hair salons if they don't help?

  4. don't dye your hair, it ruins it, and you think your hair looks bad now, think later on when all the essential oils are stripped from your hair, just stick with natural hair color.

  5. go to a salon theyll  now what to! my friend did that to but after that it looked great
