I have dark/light brown hair. With alittle bit of a orange tint. My dad is a red head... and I guess mine has a strawberry blond tint. anyways.

I just want to dye my bangs like a deep red. maroonish.

I dont want to bleach it because it will just damage it ALOT,

I have used non-permanent and of coarse it left a tint of red.

but it wore off

like

a week after.

The lady at hot topic said that wash it with cold water. But I am obsessed with hot water so it was really hard.

I just want my bangs to look really red without bleaching...

but bleaching is probably the only way...

do you know any non-permanent hair dye

that doesnt give just a tint. and you dont have to bleach...

I know its a bit picky.

there probably isnt one...

but if there is please let me know!!

  1. Bleach isn't as damaging as people make it out to be, with the right conditioning treatments it should be fine.. I don't know why you keep insisting that bleaching your hair would be the only way to get to the red color you desire. At any CVS/Sav-on drug store they sell permanent red hair dye that would leave your bangs red. And of course, All hair dye fades so it's not as "permanent" as they make it seem also. hmm, i hope i helped.

  2. There are a few permanent box colors that are red/maroon. You can find some pretty vibrant ones. You won't have to bleach it out, if its permanent  it will lift.

  3. Any type of red is going to fade within a week to a week and a half. I have a fire engine red in my hair and I get it done every tuesday and it's permanent color...
