  1. To clue you in to what kind od day is that "ash" in the name of the dye...this is th tone that neutralizes red out... browns tend to go darker than they look on the box... so you might want to try a medium ash brown first... use a semi permanent because all you need is a deposit only color because you are going darker... if the medium brown isn't dark enough... then go with the dark ash brown... it is best to go this route than to get it too dark and be freaking out because of it... it is hard to remove dark dyes and is very damaging.

Any brand as long as it is a semi permanent, Loreal, Garnier, Clairol all give great results and are available at walmart.

    Hope this helps;-)))

  2. it looks great as it is. Dont forget when colouring your hair, you have to take in account your natural colouring and skin tone etc. Dark brown might not suit you.

  3. Yes you will need to get a prfessional hair colour. Loreal make them and they are called Majeral. All shop bought colours have red in them and they can make you look a but tarty and when the sun gets to the color you go a nice shade of orange. This happened to me many times. Try and find a local hair product supplier and then ask them to show you how you use the products it really is easy and it will be cheaper then the shop bought ones. Also you don't have to by great big quantities. The colours you need to look for all have ASH in the wording and this means they they have no red in. Ash might sound grey but it is not in hairdressing terms.

    Good luck my dear

  5. i think your current colour is lovely tbh

but some of the brands i use are the xxl live for more bold colours

or try garnier nutrisse for long lasting normal colours

i have dyed my hair about 6 different colours in the past year and found them to be the best :)
