If a person is allergic to ppd, is it true that u can still get highlights as long as it doesnt touch the skin.

Plus, does temporary hair dye contain ppd?

  1. read the ingredients list on the package - it must be written on it what the colour contains.

but I recommend that you go to a hairdresser and get professional advice.

  2. temp hair sprays are ppd free but not temp colours and you could yes get them done without touching your head it wouldn't be nice if it touched just let them know if not meet a friend who's a hairdresser and will do it without the care of being fired

  3. I'm not to sure about temp having ppd but (as a hairdresser) i do know that if it does not touch the skin it is alright but also if you can find a stylest who will take this risk and also may look funny with the whole roots thing but yeah
