Question:

Hair extensions? What are they like?

It's back to school time and I would like to get a new look.

Currently, my hair looks like this;

It's a bit longer and my layers are too.

It's not completely black anymore, more of a faded brown. :(

Under neath is a failed attempt of bleaching my hair a lighter colour, then using blue manic panic to get it blue. It's a faded greeny colour now.

I love having long hair and my hair takes a crazy amount of time to grow. I was looking into extensions and was wondering how much they would be.

I want my hair to look something like this;

Where I bleached my hair underneath, I want blonde or teal. And then I would like to have longer extensions that are blonde and teal.

Can it be done? And how much do you think it would cost?

  1. it will cost a LOT.

    you can buy sew in extensions or clip ins. most likely, you will want the human hair extensions. so, that'd cost more.

  2. if your geting them from a sonlon, ALOT.

    but if your going to buy them, then not alot.

    buy blond and dye it the color you want,

    the like clip in onesss not like the "little kid ones"

    but the ones that we use. haha.

    XD

    i have them and they are amazinggg.

  3. extentions run 300 and up if you want them done good

  4. umm well if you want HUMAN hair extensions they cost like uhhh idk $50 so i say you get fake ones those cost around $20 its much cheaper!

    oh and cute hair

  5. Well,

    it depends whether you want human hair or synthetic/man made hair.

    You can have hair that long,

    and I'll leave you with a few links to some great/affordable sites.

    I'd recommend you getting clip-in extensions, as they wont need to be re-glued and specially taken out and will last longer than a few months.

    Clip in extensions are easy as,

    you clip them onto the under layers of your hair, and walla :)

    here's some links,

    there's some sites for human hair extensions, and some custom coloured ones :)

    Enjoy

    The bottom site (one above) is the cheapest,

  6. Yes it can be done it is just all about the quality you want ... what salon you go to and what technique they use to put them in

    It is really hard to say without knowing exactly what you hair looks like how much correction would have to be done to fix the color aready then of course we have to take it teal.. then I dont know how many extensions you are wanting and if you want to keep them in temp or more long term so that will make a big difference in the qulaity and type we use ... if you are just wanting them for length not fullness how long of extensions we need  ... If it was me quoting you a price based on the little info you have given me I would tell you at least $220 and up

    Extension are pricey...  as far as colored extensions if you want something that you can switch up easily  Go to ebay and buy you some clip in teal extensions you can get some for about a set of 8 for less than $20 but keep in mind most of the cheaper colored onces are not 100% human hair so they cant be colored or curled or any of that
