Hair extentions(which are metal clip ons) and airport securtity?

Question

if i put my extentions in my bag to go through screening and not put them in my hair, will they further investigate my extentions in my bag? or will it not matter if they clearly see extentions with metal clips on them? im not trying to wear these through the metal detector, im going to put them in my bag, do you think theyre going to say something to me or make me throw them away?

They most likely will not ask you to open your bag because of them but if they do it'll just be a minute and once they see them they'll let you go with them.

They may ask you to open your bag and show them to security depending on how they appear on the xray.  Other than that, you should have no issues..
