Hair fall... can it be due to anemia??

hi frnds... i m loosin lot of hair now a days...... early days.. my hair used to be thick and strong.. nw it bcame so delicate and soft..... when i apply oil... it absorbs lot of oil ... My hair is becomin dry soon...

i dont knw wat to do.... Recently i took a blood test.. and it showed tat m anaemic...

So could it be a cause for my hair fall????

  3. yeah, iron deficiency is one of the cause of anemia as well as hair fall...

    but make that sure by consulting a doctor

    take more iron rich food into ur diet, dont eat junk foods..

  7. Oh, yes anaemia may lead to hair fall.  Its good to consult a Doctor and remedy your condition.  You can take plenty of beetroots, carrots, spinach etc which produces RBCs

    However, try these tips-

    1. Ensure light and nutritious diet. Avoid fried food.

    2. Ensure sufficient protein intake e.g. milk, daal etc.

    3. Wash the hairs with fresh Curd., Aamla and Shikakai, Reetha.

    4. If you are having anaemia, take regular Iron Supplement.

    5. Stop late night sleeping, if any.

    6. Avoid tension and stress,  if any.

    7. Use Mustard Oil for hairs.

    8. Avoid mental stress and tension, try to remain happy all the time.

    9. Avoid using shampoos.

  11. Most definitely. If you are anemic it means that you are not consuming the right amount of nutrients and vitamins needed for your body to function properly (including your hair). I was anemic a while back and I lost some hair too, you just need to make sure you eat right, otherwise your body will deteriorate and you will be more likely to get sick. Start eating right!
