I heard on an Irish radio station (Today FM, the Ray Darcy Show!) about a year ago that there was a cancer drug that proved ineffective with helping cure cancer, but the side effect was hair growth. It was available over the counter in certain places, but I cant remember the name of it.

Does anyone know of the drug or hear the interview?

  1. DOUBTFUL my friend.. Much the opposite.   It was probably a prank

Cancer drugs cause you to loose your hair.

Rogaine's core ingredient Minoxidil  was produced to be a heart drug, high blood pressure treatment if I'm not mistaken.

  2. not sure if it was for cancer but I know that Propecia is prescribed for hair loss; it is short-term; wait to see if you get a better answer.

  3. procepia is only drug that works along with regaina that is lotion sold by boots but only works on scalp also boots do a treatment programme where you take tablet but i do not know about this but its around 40 pounds a month i thing

procipia is best drug so far but spelling may be a bit wrong, its a presciption drug around world,, and many websites sell fake tabs claming to be procepia or viagra but are **** so don't be fooled see a real pharmacy

  4. There are 2 genuine medications that do produce hair growth in male pattern baldness. Minoxidil, which is a lotion and finasteride which is take orally. Both only produce useful growth in a percentage of users and have to be used indefinitely to maintain the growth. Most people eventually give up, either because the effects are not good enough, or they get fed up with the ongoing cost.

I abandoned ship years ago and shaved my head, I can't imagine ever letting it grow again now.
