Hair growth in my heritage?

Is it true that people from the island of Crete have more hair growth than anybody else in the world? Plz answer.

  2. You might have an abundance of hair length but whites "caucasians" of Europe "Nothern" have the most, while blacks have the second least and asians have the least..everyone else has mostly in between...

    Since the Island of Crete is part of Greece, you definitely qualify...

I haven't read anything on this subject but from personal experience I would say the answer about Northern Europe makes more sense.  I have very thick hair as the people who have cut it like to inform me every time.  I've come to the conclusion that it is from my Scottish descent being on my father's side.  It is quite cold there and I'm sure that many generations in that environment would cause that characteristic.
