Question:

Hair help!!!!?!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

My friend is training to be a hairdresser and I usually really like the way she cuts my hair. However, it had become really dried out etc from being on holiday, so I asked her to cut it, and take off the ends of it on Monday. I said not to take much off my layers, but they are far too short!

I knew it was needing cut as it was becoming impossible to straighten, and that's the way it always goes when it needs some TLC. Now though, because she's cut them far too short, and my hair has a natural wave in it, it is still impossible for me to straighten! When I eventually manage to get it looking half-decent, the minute I go out, it ends up looking like a mullet as the layers always frizz first.

I know it will grow, but what can I do in the meantime? Could someone maybe tell me how to do a quiff or something so that I could have the top layer of it out of the way when I'm going out etc? Any suggestions?

  1. I'd definitely wear it half up half down for awhile or invest in some cute headbands. maybe smooth is down and wear a low pony tail. or make it all curly..or straight and just pull the shorter hairs back in the center of your head with bobby pins. and as for keeping it straight..hairspray, flatten, hairspray, flatten, repeat.

  2. Why don't you go to another hairdresser and ask them to do something to treat your hair.  They'd be the best people to ask.

  3. well... with a quive you get the front layers of your hair and get a bobby pin and pin it in place. Maybe use hair spray after straightening it!

  4. hi you can try some tips from here http://epictureperfect.net/dry_hair.php

  5. My blog has a lot of info about maximising hair growth so may be useful :) http://thelonghairdiaries.blogspot.com/

  6. maybe you should go to a salon and see if there is anything they can do also maybe a smaller straightener would work

  7. i suggest hair putty, It prevents frizzing without making your hair hard.
