i can't go to a stylist because they cost too much money, so something that is relatively easy and i can do myself would be good. also, i have curly hair.

  1. use what you have

  2. what i've done lots of times is put my hair up in a ponytail, take small sections and bobby pin them into a loose looking bun. i've always received loads of compliments!

  3. put twists in the front like cornrow twists

  4. curly is is really nice, ur lucky!

Buy fresh curls shampoo and conditioner and styling product 07 ringlet from the redken store - sells in lots of hairdressers and shops or you can order on website ( www.redken.com/ ).

Shampoo and condition your hair then blot dripping water with a towel once out of the shower. You prob already know this but DONT BRUSH YOUR HAIR use the handle of a comb and separate the curls so the dry nicely.

Use ringlet 07 and spread over the 1 curl and wrap around finger as tight as you want the curl to be, do this with wet hair but not all the hair as it will take ages and will give an over perfect appearance.

Leave you hair to dry naturally or half dry on a low setting with a diffuser.

once dry you can do lots of styles such as -

    - get the first one or two curls on the side of your head and tie round the back of your head with a clip.

    - leave it down.

    - flip your head down and spray the roots with hairspray for volume and flip back for a tousled look.

    - or if you have a straighter, dont use ringlet 07 on the top of your head and straighten only the top bit so you can tie it back into a pony tail, leave a curl hanging down for a mature look, and wrap HALF your hair round the band so it is hidden. Secure with curby grips.

    Hope i helped!
