Hair problemmmmsssss?

i straighten my hair three times a week, usually.

when i straighten it i take my time because i want it to look really good & smooth & straight. so its really straight when im all done, no waves, nothing. but then after like 15 minutes, or i step outside, it starts to flip out in places.

i DO have curly hair, but that doesnt seem like it'll be a problem, because if i get it straight & put product in it, you'd think that'd workk.

im in school, so i do wait at the bus stop, which is usually when it curls & on the bus when the windows are down. the shampoos i use are suave shampoo + conditioner or herbal essence, i used to use dangerously straight, now i use color my happy. (i dont have color, im just using it right now) with any of those shampoos my hair curls. i do not hairspray my hair after i straighten it & the products i use while straightening it is b confident flat iron spray.

sorry for the long paragraph & more probably xD

but im tired of doing my hair for a long time & getting little to nothing out of it. i just dont like the flippps.

  1. two answers, long one first:  Before you straighten it, use Mixed Chicks Deep conditioner, rinse and apply a bit of leave-in on the ends to save splits.  Then do your heat.  It will detangle and help hold the straight look and keep it shiny, and more importantly, protect it from the heat damage.

Short answer: work with you curls and try the Mixed Chicks system as perscribed (www.mixedchicks.net/instructions).  It will make your life easier.  You end with the leave-in and air dry...just wash and go, so think what you can do with all that extra time?  Study, work out...sleep, maybe.  Good luck.

One more thing, the shampoos you mentioned are fine, but don't shampoo  your curly hair more than 2x per week.  Shampoo is drying and those curls need the weight of your natural hair oil.

  2. get a better hair straightener

    get a good hairspray

  3. honey u need a ceramic straightner.. I have a CHI< big one ! Those cheap straighters will ruin your hair anyway so invest some money into a ceramic one! They are expensive but that will help! Mine cost 150.00. but  u can find cheaper ones than that that are ceramic ones!

    take care
