Question:

Hair product build up?

The thing is, I had a drunken 'hair product fight' with my friends yesterday and now I can't wash it out.

Straight after the fight, I went in the shower and washed my hair five or six times and it didn't make any difference whatsoever. So I wake up this morning and think 'I know, I'll have another go!'.

Half a bottle of Head and Shoulders later, IT STILL WONT COME OUT.

My hair is lank, greasy and is all rat-taily.

There's probably most of a bottle of mousse, Tesco Value hairspray and a bit of hair wax in there.

I KNOW, it was a silly thing to do but now I'm starting to panic D:

What will get it out???

Please, don't recommend going to a hairdressers or buying expensive shampoo as I am a poor student and can't afford it right now.

Thanks for all your help !

  1. Get a good clarifying shampoo (I like Nexxus Aloe Rid, it's not that expensive).  Leave it in for about a half an hour to really let it do what it needs to.  If you need to do that twice, do it again.  Then deep condition your hair for another half an hour.

    I hope that helps :)

  2. Here are some excellent products.

Here is a homemade natural remedy:

Avalon Organice Lemon Clarifying shampoo is your best choice because it is all natural, doesn't contain any harsh ingredients and it's affordable found at grocery stores.

  3. Erm maybe brush it when its dry, then wash it, brush it with a comb when wet, wash it again?....

I wouldnt let your hair dry though that could be what is making it stick in there, your just going to have to keep on washing it! Dont use shampoo either...just rinse and rinse and rinse again!

  4. use vosene super strong shamppo for build up on products

  5. just leave the shampoo in as long as possible, that should help
