Hair question, plz :)?

Question

K, I have a friend and she wants to get black in her hair,

and she has skin that isnt pale but isnt super tanned, kinda in the middle.

And right now she has a chestnut brown colour.

Do you think it would look good?

im assuming like a skin tone of ashley tisdale or miley cyrus, okay? anyway i dont think its a good idea because the black will make her look washed-out and will make her hair look flat. plus if she doesnt like black, its super hard to get off. maybe she could put darker brown low-lights, or get light brown/dirty blonde higlights.

I was in the same situation.. My skin isn't particularly pale or tanned, but I really wanted black hair so I just went for it, and it looks great! So my advice to your friend is go for it!

tell her to definitely do a test strand, even if she's using one of those that wash out in 8 washes or whatever. Black hair dye stains worse than any other color and your hair won't be the same. My sister in law had beautiful red hair and used a temp 8 wash black. Months later it was still in and she had to go get her hair completely stripped. It took years for it to look healthy again.
