  1. okay once you get out of the shower, towel dry your hair but dont! brush it. since you dont want to go out and buy new products, you have to flip your head of and put a lot of mousse on your hands, and scrunch your hair upside down. then while upside down throw your hair in a bun and stand up (obviously)

then take out the bun and put some gel in your hair, turn your head to the right and slightly tilt down so all your hair is to your right side, put the mousse in a scrunch until you have defined curls, put some more gel in your hand and do the same to your left.

then take a little more gel and make sure your hair has well defined curls in the back too, you dont want it to look flat. then when your done and you have good curls (you can put some more mousse and gel in until your satisfied) spray it in place so it stays down and doesnt frizz. if yoour going to school or something put the products in your backpack or purse just in case it flattens. if you cant hold all of it and only two bring the mousse and hairspray, if only one, bring the hairspray.

but if you bring the hairspray, speray your hair and while your hair is still drying scrunch it again, put quickly, and while standing straight up not bending over.

haha hope i helped, by the way, i have the same hair so im hoping it works.

and when you have time to buy products, get the pink Bella curling gel, and curling mousse, i live on it.

try not to make your hair too over producty because you dont want it to look crunchy

  2. a good gel and for the shine effect, citrishine has a spray shine that doesn't cost too much, but i love joico spray on shine. the curls depends on how you do your hair, i find a cream gives soft curls best allowing to air dry and scrunch as it does, garnier has a decent style and shine cream. and once dry a light coat of shine spray and you should be good for most of the day, another light spray may be needed later on if you are in a dry or humid area.

  3. Use Herbal Essences, totally twisted scrunching gel. Use a good sized amount when your hair is almost dry. Keep on scrunching it until it drys. Use Suave leave-in conditioner to help stop frizz. :)
