Question:

Hair salon help please?

Okay, I am not one to go to hair salons a lot and I feel odd enough asking these questions. I take care of my hair at home, and it looks fine. But tommorow I want to go to a salon and get my hair layered (for the first time, getting my hair layered). I have to call in for an appointment and everything. However, the last time I went to this hair salon (Lemon Tree, its a nationwide chain), they washed and cut my hair, but they didnt dry it. Is that something you have to pay extra for? After cutting my hair the lady just told me I was done...I didnt want to look like an idiot asking her why she hadn't dried my hair.

SO whats the thing about these hair dryer things? Do I have to tell them in advance when I call for an appointment or do I tell them there? Does it cost extra? Im sooo confused....

God Bless.

  1. yeah love just ask for a blow dry over the phone if they dont mention it thmeselves, its funny i care for my own hair too and i just did layers myself only a few days ago AND i pulled it off! It actually looks good! Best of luck and remember, its YOUR hair, they are servicing YOU so dont be afraid to speak up! xx

  2. Ive never really been in that situation. But when you call ask them to get it cut and blown out. By saying blown out they will know you want it blow dryed. Good Luck :]

  3. Usually they offer shampoo, haircut and simple blow dry ( at same cost), but if you want to get it ironed, curled or tight blow dry they charge extra!!

Best would be to call them and ask, its not an issue, its your right to ask before you pay.
