Hair spray and global warming?

I'm a tree hugger. I'm a hair FREAAAK. I use tons and tons of hairspray. Is it true that hairspray is also making global warming worse? What is it in hair spray that does that?

Actually, aerosols are a "negative forcing" meaning they are something mankind does that causes the globe to cool.  If we put a lot more aerosols into the atmosphere to counter the greenhouse gasses we would not have global warming -- we would however destroy the ozone layer and we would all die of skin cancer, but at least we would not suffer the extreme hurricanes that we're getting due to warming.

What does this have to do with anything? And actually, the Earth's temperature with no atmosphere would be about 0 degrees F, or about -18 degrees C.

Hair spray does not affect global warming that much, it is just an example, because it shoots out gas, which is the main cause of global warming. And to the people who commented before me, earth's temperature with no atmosphere is 0 degrees Celsius. Last time I checked it was a bit warmer.

More garbage is this stuff about hairspray's doing any real damage.   That has never been proven and won't be.

Hair spray would contain chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) which causes global warming. CFC not only cause global warming, it also cause ozone layer depletion. So using a hair spray is sure harmful to the environment. But now, many items that contain CFC like refrigerator are now CFC free so as to prevent further depletion of ozone layer. Look for the label 'CFC free' in your hair spray to ensure that it is safe to use.
