Question:

Hair styling help? Wavy hair without poofiness?

I usually straighten my hair, but I'm getting it cut soon, and I'm going to start styling it wavy, especially since fall is coming.

But I have a hair problem. I wave my hair with a flatiron, and it doesn't stay. I don't know how I should make my hair wavy. I want it to be soft waves, not curls. But I can never get any volume at the crown of my head, and then the rest of my hair gets all poofy and big, and really frizzy. How can I style my hair in soft waves, without having it get really big in the humidity (I live in Florida) and make it last all day?

  1. Use some curlers, but use the biggest size of curler there is, and before you put them in, use some liquid gel and just use you fingers to pull it through your hair. Once they come out, wait until they calm down a bit (After the heat leaves the curlers, they calm down a bit) and then hairspray it (:
