Hair styling question?

Well im amercian and in the asian areas of the world crazy hairstyles are in. They are able to style their hair using styling slay and etc. Ive been watching videos and even tho ive had my hair thinned and layers and etc they put the clay in and it sticks right up, its not that easy?

I m not sure but try teasing your hair! if you cant get it to stick up as you like. Also Got2B Spray glue NOT paste, it just works better.is amazing....
