Hair wax & gel won't hold?

Question

well i've been wanting to do this hairstyle forever http://cyberbee.easter.ne.jp/momoe/2005030602.jpg i can't make my hair hold, i tried gel and i tried wax, i am mid eastern so i have thick wavy hair, i always use a straightening iron then apply wax but my hair seems heavy and falls and gel doesn't help just makes it worse, my friend recommended Gatsby products, do you think it will hold ?

try Paul Mitchell hair wax. i like it hold mine. and maybe the next time you go in for a cut then tell them you want some razor cuts in it. this gives more volume and less weight so it way easier to do thats style. and definitely get some good good hair spray. Bed Head power trip spray is good and holds really well.

Gatsby is great, but even that will fall if you don't use hairspray. The key to getting spikey hair that holds well is using the right hairspray. I recommend using got2be. It'll work and keep your hair the way you want it. Just make sure you don't use to much of it or anything. Good luck!
