  1. u need to use bleach, but only do highlights for now, u musnt do an all over colour with bleach as it will ruin ur hair! the more u highlight it, the more it will cover like an all over colour, its just a safer way.

i hope u complained to the salon that embarrassed u and laughed at u, this is not the way clients should be treated in a salon, its disgusting!! all hairdressers are trained to be helpful, professional, and sympathetic to their clients hair worries, and try their best to fix the problem. there is no scientific reason why ur hair will not go blonde, there will just be more of a process for u to achieve the colour u want. so try and go to a diffrent salon and see if they are more helpful. all hair colours are possible,u may just need a good stylist to work it out for u. hope u get that colour!

  2. you cant dye it til it gets lighter, you have to bleach it. there's no other way.

  3. Use Schwarzkopf XXL LIVE.

If you want it like proper blonde then use the 'Absolute Platnum' one and dye it about 2 or 3 times.

It should come out blonde and your hair wont be damaged as long as you look afetr it.

    Hope that helped

  4. i had the exact same problem but the only way to do it on your own is to use powdered bleach and peroxide(40 volume) adn use that if you want it more natural get a tinting cap and hook and pull loads of hair through to make it more even and it will still go blonde all over

  5. go to walmart and buy a hair bleaching kit it will be in the hair dye section it is the only thing that will work

  6. you have to bleach it

    in peroxide first

then you can dye it blonde

  7. Darkening your hair creates layers which is very hard to strip using mainstream blonding hairdyes.

Using bleach would be the most extreme way of lightening your hair, however since you have gingery hair this could make your hair go orange. This is what happened to me after I died my hair darker and then attempted to go lighter. I know you may think its embaressing going to the hairdressers, but if you mess about with it too much then you'll have to go anyway with orange dry hair.

If you still dont want to go, use 40 vol peroxide and bleach and strand test first!!!
