  1. you can use Dr. Micralce they sell it in any beauty supply and even rite aid it usally costs 7.99

  2. Concentrate as hard as you can.

  3. First off yes they are going to keep telling you to cut it that is the only way it can get back to a healthy state. I would start with a deep conditioning treatment once a week under a dryer for about 15 mins rinse with cold water, you can go too Sally's and get Hair Masque by Beyond the Zone or Ion has a re constructor. Use a damaged/dry shampoo/cond about 3 times a week. Calm down on blowing and straighting and if you do use those items be sure to put products in to keep for damaging more.

  4. Hun, I'm a hairstylist who specializes in long haired clients.  I've helped many, many men and women grow their hair out to long lengths and they trust me and the advice I give them, because it works.  I don't mean to brag, but I do know what I'm talking about.  If you want longer hair, in a shorter amount of time, start taking prenatal vitamins.  Take them with a full meal to reduce the chances of them upsetting your stomach.  Start using a shampoo designed to increase growth.  I really love F.A.S.T. by a company called Nissim.  It really works great and they have clinical studies that show it speeds hair growth up to 45%.  I would call that real progress.  Also, regardless of what anyone else tells you, sitting in any hairstylist chair every 8 weeks is going to ruin any chances you might have of growing your hair out.  Stylists will tell people to come in every 6-8 weeks because it makes us money.  If you aren't in our chair, we aren't making money.  This is the absolute truth and I know I'll catch h**l for saying it, but you don't need your hair trimmed more than once every 6 months unless it's severely damaged. Any more than that and you are really taking off more length than you are growing.  I really hope you will try what I've advised.  It will work for you too.

  5. I don't think anything helps it to grow fast only time.

My kind of hair dosen't grow very long which is annoying, it stops growing when it gets to about shoulder length. It's all split endy to!

    GRR I HATE MY HAIR!

    lol.

  6. Prenatal vitamins help hair and nails grow faster but will not prevent breakage.

  7. protein makes hair grow faster so protein

  8. Hair grows approximately 1/2 " per month.  The best thing you can do is to keep the split ends trimmed every 6-8 weeks, use good quality products, and condition.  also, if you use a blow dryer, use low heat.

  9. vitamins, in the natural section they have them for hair.

You can go online to Miss Clairol or whichever and ask also.

  10. nothing..only time

  11. go to a salon and buy an INTENSIVE CONDITIONER.

this will make it very strong again quickly... you will probably notice the difference after using it only just once or twice...

get a salon one, because they are more expensive but much much better!

its like a conditioner but you leave it in for about 5 minutes and it works with the hair follicles and restores the natural healthyness and shinyness...

next, find a hairdresser you can trust!

i had long long hair and found they always cut it too short or cut off an extra inch because they thoght it was better that way.

    PAH.

then i made friends with a hairdresser and now i only really let her cut it, she does EXACTLY what i say!

or, go to a salon and say "hi! i want just a centimetre off the length today please... last time i said that they cut an inch off! i complained to the manager and never went there again!"

make a big point about the fact others have tried to cut it off before, and trust me, she will do it just like you ask- you are valuable to her.

get your hair TRIMMED every 4-6 weeks.

lastly, dont use heat appliances, or if you do, use it on 'low heat'. most straighteners/ curling tongs have a setting for low heat :)

good luck- i feel your pain!

  12. -eat healthier (consider taking multi-vitamins)

-exercise daily to increase blood flow

    -massage your head

    -be gentle with your hair

-layer/thin out thick hair because the heavier the hair, the less blood flow and nutrients it will get, so your hair grows slowly

-brush it often to stimulate hair growth

    -wait patiently

    :)

  13. There's this really good shampoo

it use to be for horses, i know sounds weird

but now they sell them at pharamacies like

    Shoppers Drug Mart

and apparently it makes your hair more healthy and helps it grow faster

read this it talks about the type of shampoo

    http://www.essortment.com/all/horseshamp...

  14. uhh really i have no clue.

time. check into some "hair growing products" or something?

haha; i don't think im helping too much.

    goood luck ;]

  15. Beautiful lenghts shampoo and conditioner

    Its what i use

  16. Use shampoo/conditioner like Main and Tail as someone above me has already mentioned.  You should get trims every few months to rid of the broken ends, which will keep your hair healthy.  Some people have a tough time growing out their hair, but if you're patient, it will grow.  However, if you are looking for a faster alternative, you can always try to get extensions while you are growing out your natural hair.  Good Luck! :)

  17. Even if you don't like going to hairdressers, if you get it trimmed every month, it actually grows  alot faster and a lot stronger. Ask the salon for recomendations of shampoos etc. and they'll definetely tell you something because after all, they're trying to make as much money as they can. Don't straighten it or curl it if you can avoid that, because that breaks your hair. Another thing to do is just before you have washed out all your conditioner, turn the water to cold because this seals the ends giving them more protection if you have to be vigourous with a hairbrush etc.

  18. main and tail specializes in growing out your hair.

they also have products that grow out your hair and repair damage. or thickens. or lightens. etc.....

    this works REALLY well:)

  19. Don't straighten it and don't apply any gel on it for a while. You might have split ends which stop your hair from growing so get a trim! Then change the type of shampoo your using. get a shampoo that is specifically for hair growth. Make sure you get the shampoo conditioner and cream that go along with it.
