Haircolour/cut help!?

Question

I'm getting my hair cut soon for school and also coloured. Naturally my hair is brown with red in it (like a strawberry brown?xD)

I have fairly pale skin, a few light freckles, blue/grey eyes and wear natural make up. I was thinking of going all light brown and having a few tiny light highlights like this: http://www.walgreens.com/dbimagecache/318426.jpg but the blonde about half the size.

My hair is below the shoulder to my chest and is layered with side bangs/fringe. I have a oval face shape, slightly long with slightly wide cheeks. What cut length and style will suit!?
