Okay big problem.

I'm getting my hair cut tomorrow and I have no idea what to do..

My hair is thick, curly, poofy, frizzy and VERY course. But when I straighten it, it's no problem at all. Im biracial by the way.

It's about 6-7 inches past my shoulders.

I want to keep it the same length. Im getting it thinned out.

I've always gotten layers [in the front only]

Have never had layers in the back

But i've just read that it actually makes your hair thicker, which is not I want nor need at all. Is this true???

I plan on getting bangs that are sorta diagonal [I have a round face]

But I have no idea what sort of haircut to get.. I like having layers I just dont want them if they give my hair volume.

Oh and is it possible to get your hair thinned out too much??

  1. layers do give you volume. If you have thin hair and you get it thinned out for than it can be too thinned out. Just get something simple.

  2. picture would be good

Helpful? It sounds like your hair is similar to hers. Maybe you should give this picture to your hairdresser.

  4. yay! im biracial too so i kinda know this!

and and a side fringe bang is good for a round face and

better for your hair texture that any other bang.

and no you cant have it thinned out to much especially

because with your type it does get thicker when cut.

  5. talk 2 your hair stylist! Don't be shy and she can help you tons!
