Question:

Haircut for thin hair.....help!?

I desperately need a new a new hair style. I'm tired of the same old straight cut. I have really fine hair though and I don't want a cut that's going to make it look thinner. I have a slight wave to my hair and I would like to keep it longer that shoulder length. I also have a round face and want something to accentuate my blue eyes. Could you post pictures of haircuts/hairstyles that would work well for me?

Thanks so much in advance!

  1. I have the THINNEST hair ever! I used to have long hair but I got it cut like this over the summer:http://www.bosshairstyles.com/bangs-frin...

    (2nd to last pic)

Now I LOVE my hair! It looks WAY thicker!

  2. You should cut you're hair in an a-line or bob because the top of ur hair is thicker and gets thinner near the bottom so a short hair cut will make it look much thicker.

PS if you don't want to cut your hair off you should try doing loose curls: Put half of your hair up, get a curling iron and start at the root of each section then use your fingers and grab the end of that section and wrap it around the curling iron (try not to get burned) hold for 30 seconds.

once your finished curling your hair it should look extra thick!

  3. Have the ends trimmed and have the stylist put in tons of layers. This will lighten your haircut without changing the style at all.

    Hope that helps ya!

Key to not losing bulk in already fine hair is to not add to many layers. Kate Moss has a longer bob that is jazzed up with some face framing angles. She also has so long layers to add texture to the ends. A good way to achieve this is to cut the hair into a bob and then go through with the razor to get some free ranging layers. Go for whispy not choppy layers. If you are thin on top, don't get such a heavy fringe, opt for a slight side bang that will frame your face, hitting above the cheekbones.

  5. well cutting off alittle bit of your ends makes your hair thicker, I would suggest maybe getting some layers and side bangs. You can straighten your side bangs but keep the remainder of your hair wavy which will look good. Plus you could accessorize with a headband.

(except have all hair wavy or curly besides bangs)

    I hope I helped
