Yes yes. It is time for a change and I would like to start with my hair first, yet I don't know what to do. I'm an oval shaped faced brunet with LOTS of hair. (To tell you the truth my hair is also slightly damaged so my hair less 'big' and that's another reason I'm getting a haircut and yes I shall treat my hair and repair the damage) Words to describe my hair would be: wavy, puffy, frizzy, and at time curly (Those times being 1/3 of my hair is curly while the other 2.3 is just a frizz ball). as of now my hair is I would say perhaps high-mid back (past the shoulders). I just really want a change since this is my senior year and I want to go all out. I would like if my hairstyle will allow me to do that and wont be a problem with those milestone events (Homecoming, prom, graduation, etc.) Ever since the age of 8 when my mom cut my hair super short and instead of being straight it literally formed a triangle (due to the excess waviness and frizz, and puff) I've been very self-conscious about my hair. Your help and advice is greatly needed and GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!!

  2. Sorry i didnt read all that but are an oval shaped faced and this is the perfect face shape and all types of hairstyle match it . I have attended at Make up classes thats why i know it : Oval face shape is the perfect face shape so be happy .

  3. You should get layers in ur haircut so its thinner, you could also ask the hairdresser to thin out out so there isn't as much poofy-ness to it.

some days you coud also straighten it also you should get side bangs though since you hair is curl you would have to straighten them a bit or straighten the top near the roots and leave the end of it curled.

Use john freida frizz control for the frizzy-ness it really works wonders for my friend and she has basicaslly afro hair when she doesnt use it.

  4. Aww!  I feel for you.  I have the same kind of texture.  Ugh!  Sucks.

    Good news, though!

Go out and buy yourself Alterna Straightening Balm and Caviar Polishing Serum.  You'll have to do a little research because it can only be found at certain hair salons.

The length should be somewhere between your shoulders and the middle of your back.

Really big rollers are great tools for the relaxed soft curl.

    Good luck!
