Hairdressers' advice on men's hairstyles?

Hi guys, this is for males or females. I want to grow my hair like the guy's in the pic---> http://www.menshairstylesonline.com/Hair/View-Hair.asp?Key=18&Title=Medium%20Cut&Type=2 Just wondered if you had any advice while it's growing. Does it need trimming? How long will it take roughly? etc. Also, I can never find any pics where you can see the style from the back. Any ideas on where to find some and how I would style it??

well i have lots of experience with growing hair. for your hair to get as long as in the pic it wont take you more than 2 - 3 months really. as for trimming, i think that trimming doesnt really help - it does make your hair look mroe helathy but if you take good enough care of it, you wont need trims and no, trims dont make hair grow faster - i am talking from personal experience here.

about styling, youll just have to experiment with your hair to see wats best and not
