hi

i am wanting to set up a hair salon at home and wanting more info on it. So wondering whether anyone else has set up at home and how they went about it and what they had to do.

licence, council, register name etc

hi,that is a great idea and i hope you do well,but before any of that legal requirements that you have too undertake,first ask yaself if you have enough clients too begin with?not everyone will read a homebased hairsalon business advert an go?unless they personally know someone who goes there and recomends it?if you have,then great!! if not then i suggest you work at a near by salon and build up a reputation for yaself as well as clients then when you think you got enough then go for it!!!here's a saying i always remem about business!! "BUSINESSES DONT PLAN TO FAIL,THEY JUST FAIL TO PLAN!!!!......and yes im a barber working from home!!!hence my name!!! lol,goodluck!!!
