Hairstylists-What guard #/length would you use for this cut?

I want my haircut like Brett Favre's in this picture. I know though whenever I go to a salon/barber shop they always ask length or guard # and I am not sure what I would need as far as that. I want it like that though, especially on top. Thanks for any help.
