Gas prices in Haiti are higher than here and the roads are real narrow, there are no street lights and their are people everywhere if you are going to Port au Prince, I would recommend getting a driver from Haiti, I personally wouldn't make it down one street without hitting somebody, and over there you settle the business on the spot, and heaven forbid you have to go to the hospital, its a third world country so that tells you what kind of  medical facilities they have.

I wouldnt do that AT ALL its not safe! You should have a private driver. You have to remember that you are in the porest country in the Caribbean, its very dangerous!
