Hello , i'm French. What do you think about the way the French Team faced the AB during the Haka ? all in line , with the colors of theirs national flag ( blue , white , red ) ?

I ask this question , because this fact makes a little " polemic" in the french press and suppoprters.

sorry for my english

  1. I thought it was great and it showed that the French were going to give the All Blacks a run for their money Ha Ha and they did.

The All Blacks should have performed their other Haka where it appears they are slitting the throats of the opposition and maybe that would have a better effect for the All Black players to get more focussed and pumped not pimped.

  2. I am a KIWi

They way your team stood and faced the Haka is a mark of respect for a gallant adversery and it shows your team is a worthy opponent, In my book you are good blokes

The Haka is a challenge, Your boys took the challenge and we came up wanting

  3. I am an ABs fan and patriotic New Zealander all the way.

When a team stands strong against the haka, it is always marked as a sign of respect the stronger you stand the bigger the respect, to which I am sure the french team did. The stare down by chabal only added to the excitement of the pre-game challenge.

Lets not forget that the minnow teams of the comp are only too proud to stand before the haka, not to forget the pacific teams who are also proud to have there war dances acknowledged.

others can take the p**s out of the haka, but as a proud New Zealander the haka and war dances from the pacific nations only add to the excitement of pre-match challenges.

......gosh I hope the french kick some english butt this weekend!!!

  4. it was ok.but i hate the way chabal tries to look all hard during the haka.but any way it doesnt matter because england will win on saturday by 3 points because we will be more up for it

  5. It was awesome,

    yeah but I'm French too.

I'm also curious to know what New Zealanders think about this Haka.

Hope their disappointement (sorry I don't know stronger word) will not affect their answers.

    ;;;;;;

  6. Well I'm french too....

I thought it was a little stupid to try to be scary in front of the All Blacks, i mean it's a tradition for them...

And Chabal is a bit of an *** hole anyway... have a look at that :

  7. From a Kiwi perspective I think the way the French fronted up to the All Black Haka was a mark of respect.  The Haka is a challenge and by their actions the French showed they were up for the challenge and were prepared to give a bit back.  In my opinion to front the Haka is the only way to go and France did that in the quarter final.

  8. I think it was funny, you stood pretty close to the AB's looking fearless, but i didnt notice the flag undertone. You kept it modest like the England boys. And well done for the win.

But remember, there will be no modesty when we take your mainland arses down at the weekend, even if you do have a huge bearded monster in your squad...see you on Saturday!

    COME ON ENGLAND!!!

  9. It was great - best to take the p**s out of the agressive dance and even better - justify your action by beating them on the pitch! They can take their Haka home with them!

As a Scot, I pray and hope you put an end to England!
