Hakama colors in Aikido???

Are they different colors for aikido hakamas? What do they mean?

  1. It's up to the person who wears them. Since they represent a black belt they usually stick with black.


  2. Again, it depends on the school regulations or simply personal taste.

    We all wear navy/black hakama in our iaido dojo, but we can wear any colour that we want really.

    My son wants to wear a white one but the colour won't go down well with all the 'seiza nobu' that we do!

  3. no meaning, just personal taste. probably best to stay with black though, you don't want to look like a poseur do you?
