Especially right down in the corner where the side of the nail meets the skin. The left side of the toe has been numb for a long time, now. I'm sure it's been weeks at this point. Perhaps even months. But I'm just really beginning to notice it now.

What do you think is wrong with it?

  1. Put it in a warm bucket of water

  2. Does your family have a history of Diabetes...You may be showing signs of neuropothy, a condition in Diabetics that effect the nerves in the body but usually shows up first  in the feet and or hands.  That would be one extreme.  Or u could just have a in grown toe nail and the feeling may be that of numbness..  Either way u have a physical problem, you need 2 consult ur doctor.  A simple exam and blood test can determine if it is Diabetes...

  3. yes get it checked out now.

  4. It sounds like an ingrown toenail (could be cutting off a nerve). It happens to me all the time (same toe and everything). I've never been to the doctor or anything for it. I just try to loosen the corner of the nail and that usually helps.
