Half ponytail with bangs?

Question

I have short hair that skims my shoulders, I'm trying to find things to do with it. I have really blunt bangs also, basically think same color and bangs as Demi Lovato. My face looks pretty much the same as Yuila Volkova's (pictured below), and I want to put my hair in a half ponytail like hers, would it look better with the bangs hanging down, or in the ponytail?

both would be cute, mix it up do one day with and one day with out, but start with the bangs down first
