It was an evenly matched first half in this exciting La Liga encounter between Real Madrid and Malaga. Soon after the kick off, Malaga fed from the support of their home crowd and created trouble for the Los Blancos. The side got close to scoring in the
10th minute when a slack in defending gave Fernando the room to take a well timed shot. However, during the mid game, Madrid took control and Higuain went close to scoring when he hit the post.
Angel Di Maria threatened on the right wing on multiple occasions and his pace proved to be second to no one. Maria dodged players almost at will and threatened with almost perfect right footers. Real Madrid is in top form this season as they are still undefeated
in all competitions. With so much quality in the side along with the brains of Jose Mourinho, Madrid is one of the most threatening teams on the planet. The former Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo seems threatening as ever and he, Maria and Ozil were
combining well.
Sami Khedira managed an audacious shot from distance in the 26th minute but was denied by the framework. To follow that up, Maria managed an inch perfect chip over the keeper but was saved by a last inch tackle by Gamez. All the hard work finally paid off
via Gonzalo Higuain in the 29th minute. The Argentine managed a calm finish after getting an inch perfect cross from Cristiano Ronaldo which gave the side the much deserved lead just on the half hour mark.
Nevertheless, the goal didn’t stop the home side as they sought a quick response. Rondon got the ball in the penalty box and delivered a perfect box but Ramos missed a sitter. The game is far from over as Malaga is fighting it out. Towards the end of the
first half, Madrid doubles their lead. A beautifully crafted move from Ozil gave Ronaldo a simple tap to register his 5th goal of the season for the Spanish giants.

I. Casillas, A. Arbeloa, Pepe, R. Carvalho, Marcelo, S. Khedira, X. Alonso, Cristiano Ronaldo, M. Ozil, A. Di Maria, G. Higuain
