Hall Green, The Local Parking Security Prestige Heat 1, Grade OR, 645m – Results
The Grade OR race, run over a distance of 645 meters, was entitled as The Local Parking Security Prestige Heat 1. The race was held at Hall Green on 6 January, 2012.
The race reeled in Millwards Swaby, Ballymac William, Mountjoy Orion, Slick Hawk and Nyla Fantasy, who participated in the event which was packed with thrill.
Millwards Swaby was the b***h, who finished first in the race. Breaking from trap 3, she pushed her limits, and completed the distance in 40.32 seconds. It was her second race after debuting on 23 December, 2011, with a run in the 750 meters long race
held at Romford, where she finished fifth.
Whelped in April 2009, Millwards Swaby, is trained by P W Young, who would like to see his runner build up further on this success.
The runner up of the race was, Ballymac William, who broke from trap 4, took 40.36 seconds to cross the finish line. During the race, he came closer to the winner, but didn’t have enough legs to conjure up a decisive blow.
It was his first race over the distance of 645 meters. Ballymac William made his debut on 19 December, 2009 at Monmore. D Childs’ trainee has a good record so far, and the dog was whelped in April 2008.
Mountjoy Orion, finished third on the day, as she wrapped up the race in 40.42 seconds. She broke from trap 2, and ran well and tried to catch, Ballymac William, but in vain.
This greyhound also ran for the first time in this category, since her debut on 4 December, 2010. The b***h was whelped in June 2009. Her trainer, M A Wallis, is satisfied with her career record so far.
Slick Hawk, finished a dismal fourth, after breaking from Trap 5, she covered the distance in 40.56 seconds. The b***h was whelped in September 2009. She is trained by K R Allsop.
The fifth and the last one to finish the race was Nyla Fantasy. She broke from trap 6 and completed the distance in 40.70 seconds. She is trained by M Walsh.
The topper bagged 1st prize worth of £150. Each of the others got £30. Overall, the event was amazing.
