Hall Green, The Local Parking Security Prestige Heat 3, Grade OR, 645m – Results
Hall Green hosted a Grade OR race, which was run over a distance of 645 metres entitled as ‘The Local Parking Security Prestige Heat 3’ on 6 January, 2012. The event, which included six greyhounds named as Head Iton Granty, Lonely Boy, Caribbean Jazz,
Ballyard Buddy, Ballymac Iniesta and Express Trend.
Express Trend, showed his potential and finished first in the race by completing the distance in 40.07 seconds. The b***h broke from trap 5. Since her debut on 20 October, 2011, she ran for the first time in 645 metres category. It was her second top
position overall.
The b***h seemed to be in good form from the very beginning of the race, as she assumed the lead right from the get go and kept the field at bay throughout the race. Whelped in May 2009, she is trained by E Mcnair.
Ballymac Iniesta, finished second in the race. Breaking from trap 3, the dog covered the distance in 40.27 seconds. It was his first race over 645 metres. The greyhound started his career on 12 November, 2010.
Like Express Trend, Ballymac Iniesta, also ran well, pleasing his trainer, G Hodson, who wants him to visit the winning circle more often. Ballymac Iniesta was whelped in July 2009.
The participant to finish third in the race was, Ballyard Buddy, who competed well and completed the distance in 40.37 seconds after breaking from trap 4. The dog ran in this category for the second time in a row. He finished first in the first event
that was held last month.
Whelped in October 2009, the dog made his debut on 1 August, 2011. The dog is trained by S Mason, who also trains, Bowtime Joey.
Caribbean Jazz, finished fourth in the event. Breaking from trap 2, the b***h crossed the finish line in 41.67 seconds. She was whelped in October 2009. Her trainer is J R Hall.
The fifth dog to finish the race was Lonely Boy. He broke from trap 1 and reached the destination in 41.68 seconds. He ran closer to Caribbean Jazz throughout the race, but lagged for a delay of just 0.1 second. Trained by C R Lister, this dog was
sent off as the favourite to win the race.
The hound who completed the order of finish was, Head Iton Granty. The dog broke from trap 6. Whelped in July 2009, he is trained by S Race.
The winning hound bagged the prize money of £150, while £30 were distributed among the other participants.
